Terms of Service
Last updated: October 18, 2026
These terms are a contract between you and North Forge Media LLC ("we", "us"), the operator of this website and clipping service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service does
You give us a link to a publicly available stream recording (VOD). We analyse it, cut short clips from it, optionally add captions and titles, and host those clips so you can download or share them. Clips you choose to publish appear in the public feed.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your Twitch account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK) to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live.
- We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the Service, or receive repeated valid copyright complaints.
3. Your content and your responsibilities
You keep all rights to the clips you make. By making or publishing a clip you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process, display and distribute it as needed to run the Service (for example to show it on a share page you send to someone).
Only clip content you are allowed to clip. You confirm that for every VOD you submit you either own it, have the streamer's permission, or are otherwise legally entitled to make and share clips from it. Don't use the Service to clip subscriber-only, members-only, private or paywalled content, and don't remove or circumvent any platform's technical protections.
Don't publish clips that are illegal, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that reveal someone's private information. We can remove any clip and decline any VOD at our discretion.
Feedback. When you rate a clip (thumbs up or down, with reasons) or use one (post, download, publish, keep, skip, trim, rename or delete it), we use that to improve clip selection: for your account from your own feedback only, and for the Service as a whole from totals across creators that contain no clip content (on the public streams we test with, a moment's ratings combined from two or more creators, with no account attached). Deleting a VOD deletes the feedback on its clips, and deleting your account deletes all of it (see the Privacy Policy).
4. Copyright and takedowns
We respect copyright and respond to valid takedown notices. If you believe a clip infringes your rights, use our DMCA / takedown page. We may remove content, and we terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.
5. Subscriptions, payments and refunds
- Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly, as you choose. Monthly plans renew every month and yearly plans renew every year, until cancelled. A yearly plan is paid in advance for the whole year. Prices and plan limits are shown on the pricing page and can change with notice; changes apply from your next billing period.
- Hours of streams and the plan's other monthly limits are a monthly allowance on yearly plans too: they reset on the 1st of every calendar month (UTC) and unused hours don't carry over.
- You can switch plans, or between monthly and yearly billing, from "Manage subscription" or the pricing page. Stripe shows the new price, and any credit for the unused part of your current period, before you confirm.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
- You can cancel at any time from "Manage subscription"; you keep paid features until the end of the period you've paid for (on a yearly plan, until the end of the paid year), and it doesn't renew after that.
- Refunds: cancel anytime; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Charges aren't refunded, including for partial months, the unused months of a yearly plan, or unused hours. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the consumer laws of the country you live in.
- If a payment fails we may downgrade your account to the free plan.
- Free trial: each Twitch account can start one 7-day Pro trial, without a card. When it ends your account goes back to the free plan automatically and nothing is charged. If several trials have already been started from your network, we may ask you to confirm with a card that you are a different person; the card is not charged and we keep only a one-way code derived from it so the same card can't unlock another trial. If you subscribe during the trial, your first charge (for a yearly plan, the whole year) is on the day the trial would have ended, when at least two days are left; this applies to Pro and Creator, while Studio and Agency are charged the day you subscribe.
Managed plan (done for you)
- The Managed plan is set up with us directly ("Talk to us" on the pricing page), not bought at checkout. It includes everything in the Agency plan, plus human review by our editors, under these terms. While you're on it, other plans can't be bought at checkout: to change or end it, contact us.
- Each calendar month (UTC) our editors review and polish up to 40 of your clips. Every format of the same moment counts as one clip. These go to our editors by themselves, in the order they are made: every clip you make yourself (with "Clip that", by hand, or as a reel or Top 3) and the top 3 highlights we find in each of your VODs. Other highlights and automatic clips from live clipping don't, but you can send any clip with "Send to our editors" while the month's reviews last. You can take a clip back before our editors have answered, and a clip you delete before then doesn't count either. Once the month's 40 reviews are used, new clips are delivered as usual without a review until the next month.
- Unused reviews don't roll over to the next month.
- For each reviewed clip you can ask for changes up to 2 times (2 rounds of changes). Our editors follow your creative brief and your notes as far as they reasonably can, but the final edit is a creative judgement.
- We aim to review each clip within 48 hours of it being ready, or of your change request. That is a target, not a guarantee: busy periods, long clips or problems with the source can make it take longer, and a late review doesn't entitle you to a refund or credit.
- Our editors can open and edit only the clips that are waiting for their review, and only while they are; they never post, publish or delete your clips for you.
- The same billing rules apply as for every plan: cancel anytime and keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Charges aren't refunded, including for partial months or unused reviews. This doesn't limit any refund rights you have under the consumer laws of the country you live in.
Referral program
- While you pay for a plan, you can earn a free month for each streamer who signs up with your invite link and pays for their first month, once that payment has gone through for 7 days without a refund or dispute. Free months are credited to your account balance and come off your next bills. A free month is worth one month of your plan, up to the Creator plan's monthly price (on Studio and Agency, each free month is a credit of one month of Creator). On a yearly plan a free month is the same one-month credit, which comes off your next invoice (usually the next yearly renewal). Up to 6 free months per account, in total.
- If you are not paying for a plan when your friend's payment is confirmed, that invite doesn't earn a month. Inviting yourself (another account of yours, the same network or the same card) doesn't count.
- We may change, pause or end the referral program, or cancel unapplied rewards, at any time for any reason. Rewards have no cash value.
6. Clip storage and deletion
Clips are kept for a limited time that depends on your plan (shown next to each clip and on the pricing page) and are then deleted automatically. Download anything you want to keep. We also delete clips in response to valid takedown notices and may delete content from closed accounts.
7. Fair use of the Service
Don't overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service, share your account, or use automated tools to submit VODs or vote on clips. We apply rate limits and plan limits to keep the Service working for everyone.
8. Third parties
The Service works with Twitch, YouTube, Kick, Stripe and other third-party platforms. Their terms apply to your use of them; we don't control them and aren't responsible for them. This Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Twitch, Google, Kick, Take-Two Interactive or Rockstar Games.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided "as is". We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the clips it picks will be the best ones. To the fullest extent allowed by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data or content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and update the date at the top; material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Using the Service after a change means you accept it.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and any dispute will be handled in the courts of Travis County, Texas, USA.
